BIM Conference 2016
We have been invited to attend the BIM Conference 2016, organized by One Team and Descor at the Architects’ Association in Rome, and for this occasion we have prepared a case history on the project of the Al Suwaiq Hospital in Oman.
For this project BIMon was commissioned to implement in BIM the project designed by an International Design Company. More than 1.500 technical drawings were produced for the definitive Architectural, Structural and System Design. The implementation was developed from dwg and functional diagrams provided by the customer. In particular an entirely innovative work methodology was adopted for the MEP design: working with Revit systems we were able to implement, verify and document the entire plant design.
The Case History presented at the BIM Conference has gone through the whole BIM modeling process, from workflow to multidisciplinary modeling, to clash detection, and drawings production.
"Rome, February 1, 2016 - Great success for the BIM Conference of 28 January 2016 organized by the Architects of Rome in collaboration with Descor and One Team. 548 enrollment requests, 352 participants, 10 speakers, and more than 100 requests for further training sessions. These are just some of the numbers that make the organizers proud of the achievement and confirm the need for subsequent meetings on topics related to new design-supporting technologies. Much interest has aroused in the case histories shown during the event. Architects Matteo Simione and Riccardo Pagani, founders of BIMon, described a concrete case of application of the BIM at 360 ° for a Middle East hospital of 70.000 sqm. The application of this new working methodology has allowed to coordinate architecture, structure and facilities. In addition, the production and revision of more than 1500 drawings has been automated so that, in just four months, we can move from a preliminary project to an executive project ...
